TERI College Planning Centers, located in Boston, Brockton, and Chelsea, Massachusetts, education advisors provide FREE, one-on-one guidance and resources to make planning and paying for college as simple as possible. Our advisors are fluent in a number of foreign languages.
The main center at Copley Square is open 7 days a week from October 1 to May 31. During the summer, it is closed on Sundays. For information on each site’s hours, call (617) 536-0200.
Assistance identifying sources of scholarships and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), CSS Profile and institutional financial aid applications
Guidance on choosing prospective schools and through the entire application process
Help in choosing a major and understanding how to achieve career goals
State-of-the-art computers to locate sources of scholarships and other financial aid, research colleges and other career-building programs, and complete financial aid and admission applications
Guidebooks on local and national colleges
Books on test preparation, scholarship searching, and career planning
Information on GED and ESL programs and technical/vocational education opportunities
TERI provides assistance to all students and families that request assistance on a first come, first serve basis, or by appointment.
Within each of the Centers, TERI also manages Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC), federally funded TRIO Programs focused on providing low-income, first-generation students over the age of 18 with assistance in their pursuit of postsecondary education opportunities to help better position themselves in the job market.
